MOTIVATION MIRRORS

SCREENPRINT INSTALLATION. Motivation Mirrors is a conceptual triptych that reflects—both literally and figuratively—our complex relationship with modern-day slogans and call-to-action culture. Inspired by the motivational language found in advertising, it appropriates these familiar affirmations and repositions them onto mirrors, turning passive consumption into intimate confrontation. By screen-printing motivational taglines onto reflective surfaces, the work becomes a direct dialogue between viewer and message.

Each time someone looks into the mirror, they're met not only with their own image but with the distilled optimism of consumer culture urging them forward. The mirrors serve as both canvas and accomplice—challenging us to consider how much of our ambition is self-driven, and how much is inherited from the noise around us. Sometimes the most powerful call to action isn’t on a billboard—it’s in our own reflection.
