To celebrate the launch of IKEA’s newest city-centre shop right by the infamous crossing, we gave everyday Shibuya moments an IKEA twist with the help of their much-loved soft toy range in the protagonist roles. We partnered with three Tokyo illustrators to bring these unexpected characters to life.
The (animated) stories launched on brand and artist SNS and in Retail. And as IKEA Shibuya exclusive product as the comics made their way on tote bags and into IKEA RIBBA picture frames.
Illustrated by Kei Mogari, Unpis and Emi Ozaki. Produced for IKEA at W+K Tokyo.
